Ruschia was originally available as part of the ‘A Year of Techniques’ collection and is now available to purchase as a single pattern.

Featuring cushy garter stitch and a simple and effective slipped stitch pattern, Ruschia is all you want in a comfort slouch. Worked sideways the pattern is easily adjusted for different sizes and/or yarn gauges.

The pattern is both fully charted and written, and also includes illustrated tutorials for the relevant techniques.

130 [161, 195] yd/119 [147, 179] m
33yd/30m for a 6x6in/15x15cm swatch in Garter St.
Aran weight, plied yarn.

Needles & Notions

Pair 4.5mm/UK7/US7 straight needles or size needed to obtain gauge
4.5mm crochet hook
Approx. 2yd/2m waste yarn
Stitch marker as necessary
