For those in a caregiving cycle, it is a challenge to find time for you. Even a brief respite can help you to recharge and find renewed strength to get through what needs to be done to help your loved one.

This worsted weight cowl is a one skein project. It’s worked from the short edge and seamed. The stitch pattern is one that can be set aside after one repeat … and if you have a few moments more, one row.

Designed for Artyarns Silky Twist, I hope the light soft yarn helps you to create a moment of calm.

The fabric of this stitch pattern looks as if it’s being pulled in opposing directions, it’s often how caregiving feels! My hope is that in working this you can find one brief moment to recharge.

Through 31 August 2023, 50% of net proceeds will be donated to The Cancer Support Team, in memory of my mother-in-law Dr Susan Glanz.

This amazing non-profit serves patients and their families in southern Westchester County, New York. They offer a comprehensive array of medical, educational and support programs, run by exuberant and highly skilled volunteers. Everyone there was remarkable in their assistance and care for my family during an incredibly challenging and difficult time.

This pattern includes written instructions (US Terms) only.
