Interactive Social Story: Friend Changes the Plan

Friend Changes the Plan is an interactive PDHPE pathway story where students explore a friendship situation involving a plan that changes unexpectedly. Students make choices about how to respond, including whether to manage disappointment, communicate clearly, ask questions, or repair the friendship. The activity encourages students to build skills in emotional regulation, flexible thinking, respectful communication, and understanding how thoughtful responses can help friendships stay strong when things do not go as expected.
