The SZD-10 Czapla is a Polish two-seat training glider, designed in the early 1950s to support pilot training in aeroclubs. Featuring a forward-swept high-wing design, a steel tube fuselage covered with fabric, and strut-supported wings, the Czapla was built for durability and ease of handling. First flown in 1953, it was produced until 1960, with 157 units built. The glider was primarily used in Poland but also saw exports to Finland and Turkey. With a maximum speed of 160 km/h and a glide ratio of 17, the SZD-10 Czapla remains a notable piece of aviation history
