What does this have to do with "dog training"?

Everything.

How we feel in our own skin and in the world around us, our level of confidence, how we show up, how comfortable we feel with setting (and reinforcing) boundaries, etc.... it's all information. And it all contributes to how our dogs perceive us. It determines the level of relevance we hold in their eyes and mind... how they feel about looking to us and following our lead. How safe and secure they feel in doing so.

Before PackFit was PackFit, the Founder of PackFit (Kimberly Artley) was health | life coach, nutritionist, and yoga | Pilates | Kickboxing and personal fitness instructor at "Healthy Chick."

Her late teens and early twenties were riddled with several challenging health and weight struggles. After years of this, she decided enough was enough, and set out to learn all she could about health, wellness, nutrition, how to best care for herself... and teach others to do the same.

She went back to school and received her degree in "Health Promotion" from Marymount University. There, she started and taught the University's first yoga and Pilates program, founded and headed up the "HWSA" (Health and Wellness Student Association), started a movement to have the school offer healthier snack options in campus vending machines and in the bookstores, had the Cafeteria begin posting nutritional information about what was being served, and started and wrote for the University's first "Health and Wellness" section of the school's newspaper.

Upon graduation, she went on to study and graduate from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC (back when classes were still held in the city), and was a volunteer mentor for those struggling with eating disorders and other health issues.

Health, nutrition, and wellness information can be .... well.... boring to read to about. "Healthy Chick" was created through a mission to empower people and share this information in a more engaging, upbeat way.

Developing healthier habits and incorporating healthier choices into your moments and days shouldn't have to be so cumbersome! To many, it can be "one more stress" and "another thing to do."

In "50 Ways to Get Buff (When 24 Hours A Day Just Isn't Enough)", Kimberly shares 50 different *creative* ways to squeeze exercise into your days. So easy to do that it won't be an additional burden... and you'll see results in no time.

Includes tips on...

  • how to turn any ordinary daily task into a calorie-torching activity,
