Singer 15-91 Plate SA SVG File

SVG FILE NOT A PHYSICAL ITEM

I created this svg for my vintage Singer 15-91. I do not have a needle plate that has Seam Allowances marked. I ordered a plate, and it didn't fit. I used painter's tape to mark the Seam allowances, but after fiddling with tape for the second time, I thought there had to be another way.

I designed this file in Silhouette Pro, to be used with adhesive vinyl. Simply set file to cut using a vinyl cutting machine, weed the cut, and stick it to the plate. This will not be a permanent solution and will have to be reapplied. With daily sewing, one decal typically lasts me for about 6 months. I set up file to repeat and cut several at one time, than just save the unused ones for speedy replacement.

Use the 1" test square to ensure your gague is correct. If your 1" square is not showing as 1", highlight the entire file which is including the plate cover. and scale your square to 1" x 1". This will scale your plate as well. This file is only made for the Singer 15-91, however you may luck other machine, just be sure to search for the size of the plate.
