As-Salamu 'Alaykum Teacher's Guide

A brief book of 115 pages contains guidelines for teachers who are teaching Assalamu 'Alaykum textbook series (9 textbooks).   The book is a summary of the authors' experience of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers through almost 15 years.

We intended to make this book as brief as possible, but comprehensive in order to avoid being bored with details of each lesson that are repeated in the following lessons and so on.  The major differences among the 3 stages (Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced) are pointed out in order to draw the teachers' attention and equip them with teaching skills and techniques that help them deliver the content and facilitate the learning environment, so the students can easily acquire the language skills and use them communicatively.

At the end of each chapter, we have clarified some expected problems the teacher may face, and we have suggested some practical solutions.

Though the book is important for teachers who are teaching Assalamu 'Alaykum textbook series, it is useful  for all teachers teaching Arabic to non-native speakers through other textbooks.

We believe that teaching languages is a creative process influenced by environment, textbooks, technology, and the talented teachers.  So, we are sure you can build on our experience and improve it to new horizons.  We appreciate your comments that  can be sent to us at yialbooks@yialarabic.com  that will be collected and considered when we prepare the following edition.
