This shawl is a beautiful combination of lace and garter stitch. It’s worked in bias from cast on tip to the bind off row, increasing stitches at the beginning of right side rows. The size is easily adjustable.
Lace pattern is both charted and written.

RainboWool Merino Sock (75 % superwash merino, 25 % nylon; 465 yds / 425 m per 100 g):
1 skein C1, shown in color Sininen Taivas (blue)
1 skein C2, shown in color Hellyys (yellow-pink)
1 skein C3, shown in color Kuura (white)
or fingering weight yarn, approximately:
390 yds / 355 m C1
350 yds / 320 m C2
340 yds / 310 m C3

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS:
Size 4 US / 3.5 mm needles

GAUGE:
24 sts and 42 rows in Garter stitch, washed and blocked = 4” / 10 cm.
Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect the amount of yarn used and the final size of the
shawl.
