This pattern is knit cuff down with a traditional heel flap and gusset.
Yarn:
300-400 yards (80-100g) of fingering weight yarn for MC
approximately 50 yards (20g) CC
These socks look great in all colors!! The stitch stands up extremely well with highly variegated, heavily speckled, light colors, dark colors, solids, semisolids, and EVERYTHING in between!
This pattern has been tested.
Chicken Scratch Socks are beginner friendly with lots of photos and a YouTube tutorial of how to work the special stitches.
