Passion - Video

Passion is a powerful soul-protest anthem born from pain but driven by determination. It speaks to the exhaustion of fighting battles that can feel painfully familiar while reminding us that we are not standing where we once stood. Every setback, every attempt to push us backward, is evidence that we have moved forward.

With raw emotion, prayer, love, and an unflinching commitment to Black people, Passion acknowledges the lump in our throats and the moments when our souls simply hurt. But it refuses to let pain become paralysis. Instead, we make it fuel—fuel for discipline, strategy, courage, movement, and the work still ahead.

The song also reaches tenderly toward those gone far before their time with a promise: Rest, babies. Rest, our Black beauty. We got you. We’re on the job.

Passion is not about pretending to be unbreakable. It is about loving our people so deeply that even when the weight becomes almost unbearable, we reach into our gut, find a fight nobody has seen before, steady our feet, and keep moving.

My soul hurts—and still, I’m gonna fight for us.
