SPYDER

The SPYDER(surface to air python and derby) is a short to medium range anti air mobile system used by the Republic of Singapore Airforce. 

This model was a challenge to replicate and took me a long time to get the proportions looking right. I wanted to fit in all the working details of the vehicle, such as opening doors, ladders, antennae and of course the moving turret armed with the missiles. 

This model can fit four minifigures in the cab, and can be set up as a mobile unit or a static defence position. It measures 32cm x 10.2cm x 17.1cm. 

This is definitely the biggest vehicle I've ever made at 696 parts, and I've condensed the instructions to 153 pages.
