What You Need Before You Start
There are lots of books about how to use the Web. This book isn't one them. We're assuming that if you're reading this book, you already have a working connection to the Internet, you have a web brow such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple's Safari, or Google's Chrome, and you're familiar with the basics of how the Web and he Internet wok. You should also have at least a passing acquaintance with some other elements of the Internet, such as email and FTP, because we refer them in general items in this book.
In other words, you need to have used the Web to provided content for the Web. If you meet this one simple qualification, read it!
