How a tribe of farmers became a kingdom, lost it twice, and carried a “portable homeland” across the world for 2,000 years.
How Judaism evolved across the centuries and what brought it on. Why Jews look so different from each other. Where every kind of Jew you meet today comes from. And how we finally came home.
After October 7th, I realized I couldn’t explain my own story.
Not to the world, not to my kids, not even to myself.
I knew fragments: a holiday here, a war there, a prayer or two.
But 4,000 years of Jewish history? Every time I went looking, I fell into a rabbit hole of dogma, debates and very long books in ancient language.
So I did what I do best. I took the whole thing and turned it into one story, told in a way anyone can understand it, the way our people can pass it on. Haggadah literally means “the telling.”
