I’m Yonit, a Jewish Israeli millennial mom living a secular life with a spoonful of spirituality.

Like many of us, I never gave my Jewish heritage much thought. Then came October 7th. Overnight, the whole world seemed to turn on everything Jewish, and I needed honest answers about who we are and where we come from.

I’m not a rabbi or a scholar. I spent fifteen years in hi-tech marketing, turning complex ideas into stories people actually remember. So I did the same with 4,000 years of Jewish history: the facts without the dogma, and the beauty without the pressure.

New Gen Jew is a home for every kind of Jew, from the atheist to the deep believer, where belief is a door, not a gate. We were the People of the Book. Now it’s time to become the People of the Land again, and ask what we will build.
