A counted cross stitch design of a black throated finch, an Australian bird that has seen its habitat come under threat in recent years. Black throated finches have distinctive plumage and are a little smaller than Gouldian finches. I now have a number of Australian bird patterns available for your stitching pleasure.

• Size on 16/32 count fabric: 2.3 x 2.4 inches (5.8 x 6cm)
• Threads: DMC stranded cotton
• Technique: whole cross stitch and a small amount of back stitch
