Braided Entrelac Hat

Why have plain entrelac when you can add braids for an added fashion flair? You will need less than 100 yards each of two colors for this hat along with a 16 inch circular needle and a set of double-pointed needles. There is a braid along the bottom rim as well as at the top. The braid does not take a cable needle or any knitting gymnastics, but simple knit and purl does the trick.

This is an excellent project for two colors of handspun yarn. Use two solid colors or one solid and one variegated for your own personalized look!
