History and Heritage Yorkshire Magazine March 2023

I was asked if I would make back issues of History and Heritage Yorkshire available. The answer is yes. I will release them over the next few days six at a time. This edition was published between January and June 2023. Highlights over that period were archaeologist Dr Jon Kenny's fascinating and detailed pieces on the archaeology of Yorkshire and Vivienne Rivis' epic research into the Wilson family of Burton Leonard which ended up earlier this year in a globe spanning research expedition to Canada. All this and the usual eclectic mix, all bringing Yorkshire's past to life.

As always, the magazine is available on a pay what you can basis — with no minimum amount. While contributions are always welcome I firmly believe that personal circumstances should never be a barrier to exploring history and heritage. This way, everyone can enjoy the stories of Yorkshire’s past.
