West Country Gothic
Some notes on yarn:
The red sample in Rowan Fine Lace used only 40g of yarn. It was still worked on 4mm needles and came out the same size despite using slightly less yarn.
The blue sample with a dark blue edging was worked in Fyberspates Vivacious 4 ply. Because the skein is 365m there isn’t quite enough in one skein, which is why the last row and cast off were worked in a second colour.
Suggested Yarns: John Arbon Textiles Exmoor Sock (85% Exmoor blueface, 15% nylon, 400m/100g), 1 skein (cream) or Rowan Fine Lace (80% alpaca, 20% merino, 400m/50g), 1 ball (red)
or 400m of any 4-ply or laceweight yarn
