Toqueflake
Toqueflake is a skill-building colourwork toque that begins with an easy-to-memorize chevron stripe, perfect for getting comfortable with two-strand knitting. A snowflake-inspired motif follows, adding some attainable challenge to boost confidence.
The decrease sections are straightforward, with no colourwork involved, so there’s no need to manage stitch counts or work decreases while using two strands.
Worked in bold contrast, it’s a practical and satisfying project for both new and seasoned colourwork knitters, and a classic winter toque that will be a welcome addition to any knitworthy wardrobe.
