Free Behavioral Chart

As teachers, we always set rules at the beginning of the school year to keep the students on their toes so that we can deliver our content with less behavioral disruptions. As proven by numerous studies, rewards and punishments are not the most effective way of disciplining the students.

According to Alfie Kohn, author of Punished by Rewards, “Rewards and punishments are not opposites at all; they are two sides of the same coin. And it is a coin that does not buy very much.”

This product aims to reinforce positive behaviors displayed by the students, but at the same time be a reminder to them if they slip out from expectations. In doing so, students can self-check every time how they are doing so far concerning behavior expectations.

The Behavior Clip Chart is very easy to prepare. Cut and laminate each chart. Post them all in one corner of your classroom. Print the names of the students. Each day, you need to evaluate the behavior of the students and put his/her name in the proper category.

This is a free product. If you want the editable templates for your own behavior expectations, you can buy our full version. Please visit our store for details.
