English for Grade 3 : Themes 1 - 6

This pack is aimed at children who have just finished Grade 3.

The pack contains 6 different themes, across 45 pages, with each theme containing:

- a reading comprehension text

- associated comprehension questions

- vocabulary exercises

- punctuation exercises

- grammar exercises

- a writing task.

All exercises are based on the theme of the text.

The themes included in this pack are as follows:

- Theme 1: Uncovering the Past (a non-fiction text, exercises and writing a story)

- Theme 2: Jungle Journeys - The Quest for Hidden Treasure (a fictional text, exercises, and

writing a story)

- Theme 3: How we met Snow White (a fictional text based on a popular fairytale, exercises, and

writing a journal entry)

- Theme 4: A Time-Travel Adventure (a fictional text, exercises, and writing a letter)

- Theme 5: Sir Lance and the Dragon (a text in the format of a playscript, exercises, and writing an

article)

- Theme 6: Our Summer Holidays (2 letters, exercises and writing an email)
