Flip-a-Card Math : Multiplication

This pack is part of our Flip-a-Card Math series, with a special focus on Multiplication.

The idea of the Flip-a-Card Math packs is to use a pack of playing cards such as UNO, to revise mathematical concepts.

Flip one or two cards to make a one or two digit number, place it on the activity sheet and multiply.

The pack includes:

- 9 sheets (1 for each multiplication table 2-10) where your child can work out a multiplication statement, and find the answer at the bottom of the sheet.

- 9 sheets (1 for each multiplication table 2-10) where your child can work out a multiplication statement, without answers included on the page. Your child can say the answer out loud, or write the statement on the record sheet for you to check later.

- 1 sheet to multiply any number, by a random number, by flipping over a different card each time.

- 1 record sheet to write down answers

- 1 sheet to take multiplication a step further, by linking it to division and writing division sentences.

- a set of number cards featuring numbers 0 to 9, in case you do not have suitable playing cards. We recommend making 5-6 copies of this sheet (an standard UNO pack has 8 of each number).
