The Basílica del Pilar Companion

According to a tradition older than almost any other in this series, the Virgin Mary appeared here in the year 40 while still living in Jerusalem. This Companion reads the resulting Baroque basilica, and tells the story of a wartime strike this building has chosen to display, two unexploded bombs and all, rather than quietly repair and forget.
