ABC Sorts with Handwriting Practice | First Sound | Kindergarten and First Grade
Do your students need help identifying beginning sounds and working on their handwriting skills? This set of alphabet beginning sound cut and paste sorts is my "go-to" resource that I use each year. Students get to practice their handwriting skills AND phonics skills at the same time! Best of all, it saves me TONS of time. I just print and go!
My students love feeling successful as they improve their phonics/phonemic awareness, handwriting, and fine motor skills. With over 200 pages with 71 cut and paste sorts with handwriting practice, this is the perfect set to add to your alphabet collection.
Each sort contains handwriting practice as well as a paper saving half sheet color or black and white alphabet pictures to cut out.
Color copies can be laminated and attached to Velcro or magnet dots with a baking sheet to use for years to come.
This set includes all letters of the alphabet with many letter sort variations including tricky reversals and beginning vowels. Please note that the vowel pictures utilize both their long and short sounds.
