Lovely Kay - Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pattern

«Lovely Kay» is a homage to a very special lady I have met in my early years as a designer. She is part of a very dear yarn and crochet group to me and she helped me testing my very first mandala design.

I was eager to try Yarnsmith Lagoon yarn and Kay brought me lots of colourways when she visit Portugal. So this pattern, made with one of those colourways, could not have other name than her own.

«Lovely Kay» is a very delicate and relaxing pattern that gets beautiful no matter the yarn and colours you use.

Materials

Yarnsmiths Create DK (100% Acrylic); 1 ball – 100 g (290 m) / 3.5 oz (317 yds)

Yarnsmiths Lagoon DK (100% Premium Acrylic); 1 ball – 100 g (340 m) / 3.5 oz (372 yds)

4 mm / US G-6 and 4.5 mm / US G-7 crochet hooks

Finishing Size

The final size of the blanket is 90 cm x 110 cm (35 in x 43 in), approximately.

You can customize the size of your blanket by adding or decreasing repeats of the pattern, but keep in mind that this will affect the amount of yarn required.
