A fun project that uses just a bit of #10 crochet cotton or pearle cotton embroidery floss.
Stitches: ch (Chain), dc (Double Crochet), FPdc (Front Post Double Crochet), sc (Single Crochet), sl st (Slip Stitch)
I love looking through vintage crochet patterns. Seeing the shade pulls in those pamphlets reminded me of the ones throughout my grandmother's house. Those all start with working around a ring, some very simple, some ornate. Using that concept, I played with some stitch combinations until I came up with this pattern.
Jingle All The Way was born of using what I already had. I have MANY partial balls of #10 crochet cotton - the full jingle ornament only uses about 20yds. I also have some pearle cotton kits for friendship bracelets so dipped into them to make the lime green ornament. The bells were an after Christmas/going out of business sale at ACMoore last January. The bone rings I bought ages ago for ... I don't know.
They work up quickly and can be used as an ornament for your tree or as a mandala type decoration for your house. Instead of a jingle bell, the lower loop could hold a crystal or larger bead.
