Phoebe meets the Talking Cricket
Phoebe runs far away from the witch’s house, tears of fear of punishment, of anger, of disappointment and of failure in her eyes.
The voices of the forest make her blush with shame.
“Look who’s here! That good for nothing Phoebe!”says a squirrel
“Let’s hope she doesn’t come near my nest, she’ll break all the eggs!” complains the wife of the blackbird.
