This little booklet has two posters with 21 adjectives describing how you feel – one in German and one in English. The German poster also comes as a jigsaw puzzle, just make sure you print it onto card instead of paper.

There are 11 pages for you and your child to read the adjectives in German and English with spaces below. The spaces can be used depending on the level of German. As you can print these pages as many times as you wish you could use them for example like this:

Read the adjectives and draw them

Let your child draw them and write the name in German (and English)

Let your child write a basic sentence in German. For example: Ich bin froh.

As your child’s German improves, the spaces could be used to practice German grammar (depending on ability). For example ‘Ich bin traurig, weil …’, ‘Wenn ich ‘raurig bin, dann …’, ‘Gestern war ich aufgeregt, denn …’

Or you could practice conjugating ‘to be’: Ich bin froh, du bist froh, ich bin froh gewesen, ich werde froh sein, etc …

This is also very useful for adults who want to improve their German grammar.

There is also a word search with the choice of finding the German words from the German list or from the English list.

You have 2 PDF options for you to download and print immediately, either A4 or US letter size. It is not a physical copy. It means you don't have to wait for it to be shipped. Just download it, print it and enjoy!
