Career Soft Skills Card Game- Taboo Inspired

Hard skills are not enough to be effective in a career. Students must be prepared with soft skills to be competitive in the job market. This game is inspired by the game Taboo and gives students the opportunity to explore in-depth what each soft skill encompasses.

► How to play: (inspired by the game Taboo)
1.) divide players into teams of even numbers of players if possible
2.) the first player picks a card from the face-down pile
3.) the player tries to get others on their team to guess the word in the box in a designated amount of time (either with a timer or buzzer)
4.) they cannot use the list of words under the box to describe their word (or any part of the words)
5.) they cannot make sounds or gestures with their hands or face
6.) they cannot write anything down
7.) they cannot say “the opposite of…”
8.) the team with the most guesses wins
