Receiving a diagnosis of autism, ADHD or AuDHD can bring a mixture of emotions. You may feel relieved to finally have answers, while also wondering what happens next and how best to support your teenager.


This short course has been created to help you feel more confident during those early weeks and months after diagnosis. It provides clear, accessible explanations without overwhelming you with information, helping you better understand your teenager's experience and how you can support them in practical, meaningful ways.


Each bite-size section includes a short reflective worksheet with practical questions to help you think about your own teenager and begin applying what you've learned straight away.


This course is designed for parents and carers of newly diagnosed autistic (Level 1), ADHD and AuDHD teenagers. It is neurodiversity-affirming, compassionate and practical, providing reassurance alongside evidence-informed guidance.
