Cozumel is a very simple cowl, ideal for stashbusting DK weight yarn leftovers. Pic 5 colors, mix them and have fun!
The cowl is worked flat and seamed to create a loop. It features a simple mosaic pattern, which is ideal for everyone wanting to try it for the first time, as well as for knitters who know it really well.

The pattern is fully written and charted (with two types of charts for easy knitting).

This design was created especially for Nautical Knitting Cruise 2017.

Size
Height: approx 26 cm / 10.25”.
Length: approx 125 cm / 49”.

Yarn
Approx. 500 m / 546 y total of DK or light worsted yarn divided among 5 colors (about a half skein each should be plenty).
Sample was knit in the following yarns and colorways: Tyrrell DK by Martin’s Lab in Tabby (CC1), Autumn in Poland (CC2), Wheat (CC4), and Lavender (CC5); Comfy DK by Martin’s Lab in Silver Lining (CC3).

Needles
4.0 mm / US #6 circular or straight needle.
4.5 mm / US #7 circular or straight needle, or one size bigger than gauge needles.

Notions
crochet hook (the same size as needle) and scrap yarn for provisional cast-on, tapestry needle for weaving.

Gauge
20 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Garter st worked flat with needle 4.0 mm / US #6.
Take time to save time and check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
