Allegro is an unusual, wrap around top, with ribbed waistband and open back. This top is extremely lightweight due to its open lace stitch. It has no shapings at all, the techniques needed to make this gamrent are cast on and off, knit, purl, and wrapping yarn around the needle to create the elongated lace stitch. You will receive a 2 page PDF pattern with instructions and diagram with measurements. 

Knitted in a worsted-aran weight yarn. Sample is made from Purl Alpaca Designs Medium (100% alpaca)

Sizes:
X-Small: UK sizes 4-6, to fit 55-61cm/22-24” waist
Small: UK sizes 8-10, to fit 63.5-68cm/25-27″ waist
Medium: UK sizes 12-14, to fit 71-76cm/28-30″ waist
Large: UK sizes 16-18, to fit 81.5-86.5cm/32-34″ waist
X-Large: UK sizes 20-22, to fit 91.5-96.5cm/36/38” waist
(Measurements are all approximate as Allegro shawl is very flexible and each given size can easily accommodate a smaller or larger size.)

Needle size: 7mm straight and 4mm circular needles with 100cm cable.

Tension: 10sts and 12 rows to 10cm square over Lace Stitch using 7mm needles.

Notions: Darning needle for securing yarn ends.
