The Clinical Emotion Explorer is an interactive clinical tool for therapists. It gives you an eight-emotion interactive wheel with three levels of depth, clinical context for every emotion, and a session note generator built in.

What Is Inside:

Eight core emotions on an interactive wheel: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, Disgust, Surprise, Shame, and Love. Each core emotion expands into eight secondary emotions. Each secondary expands into three tertiary emotions. That is 64 secondary and 192 tertiary emotional states mapped and clinically annotated.

For Every Emotion the Clinical Panel Shows:

• What this emotion often protects or signals beneath the surface
• Somatic markers to look for in the client's body right now

Session Note Generation: As you work, add observations for each emotion to the session log. When the session ends click Generate Session Note and the tool creates a clinical narrative and full session note you can print or save as a PDF for your records.

How to Use It: Open the tool in your browser. Click a core emotion on the wheel. Refine to a secondary and tertiary emotion as the client identifies more specifically what they are feeling. Review the clinical panel for context and prompts. Add your observations. Generate your session note at the end.
