Plant Worry Grow Hope Pattern

Stitching is a meditative practice, and this pattern lets you stitch your worries into trees, growing hope in the process. Designed as the COVID-19 pandemic first began to spread across the world, this pattern is an active meditation on creating hope during particularly uncertain times. With 14 different foundation paper pieced blocks and a taste of applique on three larger trees, this pattern is a fun one. The pattern includes guidance for piecing each block, as well as how to piece three projects: a lap quilt, a pillow, and a table runner.

Because there will ALWAYS be a need for hope in this world, 50% of all profits from the pattern will be donated to charities working to "grow hope"--primarily in the areas of food security, racial and social justice, land reparations, organizations working for equal rights for all people, and addressing the climate crisis.

This is a digital pdf download. This pattern does not contain basic paper piecing instructions, but you can find a tutorial with instructions on my blog at http://nightquilter.com/2014/06/03/tutorial-basic-foundation-paper-piecing/
