Until the next piece will not connect.

It is surprisingly easy to do the same thing with a life: force a timeline, a decision, an explanation, an outcome, or even a version of ourselves into the place we have decided it belongs simply because uncertainty is difficult to tolerate.

Centered on 1 Corinthians 13:12 and Ecclesiastes 3:11, The Guest Who Forces the Puzzle Pieces explores what it means to trust God when our understanding remains genuinely incomplete. Scripture does not tell us that we see nothing—but neither does it require us to manufacture certainty where God has not provided it. We can act faithfully upon what He has made clear while remaining humble about what we still cannot see.

Together, participants will consider why almost-fitting pieces can be so difficult to release, when perseverance becomes pressure, what Scripture permits us not to know, and the difference between trusting God's work and constructing an explanation for Him.

The Gathering also makes room for the “sky pieces”—ordinary, repetitive, unresolved seasons that can feel insignificant because they do not resemble visible progress. Rather than rushing to assign those seasons a meaning God has not revealed, participants are invited to consider whether unfinished must necessarily mean useless.

Trust does not require a finished picture.

Sometimes faithfulness means taking the next clear step.

Sometimes it means loosening our grip on something we have been forcing.

And sometimes it means allowing a piece to remain unplaced while trusting the God who sees what we cannot.
