Hexagon Improv EPP Patchwork Quilt - Finished Quilt

This is a listing for a custom one of a kind handmade finished quilt featuring premium cotton fabric. The quilt is a custom pattern designed by me.

Each patchwork hexagon features brightly colored solids and prints. All hexagons were hand stitched with the EPP method and then the top section was hand pieced together. The bottom hexagons we’re individually machine stitched to the fabric and then machine quilted with Aurifil 50 wt thread. Background is. Metallic Essex linen that sparkles. Binding is machine quilted for durability.

The quilt measures 49 inches by 58 inches square, a nice sized lap quilt or throw blanket for your bed. The quilt has a plush loft cotton batting which provides a softer blanket but a nice drape. The quilt is a bit heavier due to the doubled up fabrics in the hexagon areas and extra seam allowances.

In keeping with the needs of everyday life, this quilt is machine washable (gentle cycle) followed by low heat drying. This would make a practical and thoughtful gift.

This quilt is new and unused. It was made and is kept in a smoke-free, dog friendly home. It has been washed.
