Materials Required: (45” (115 cm) cotton)

.5 m (1/2 yd) striped medium weight fabric for bag

.5 m (1/2 yd) fabric for lining

.5 m (1/2 yd) stiff fusible interfacing*

12” square desired colour for anchor appliqué

12” square fusible web

1.5 m of 1 cm (1-2/3 yd of 1/2”) soft cotton rope for handles

5, 2.5 cm (1”) brass rings for casings and key strap

Sewing and quilting thread to match

If adding optional inside zippered pocket you will need:

21.5 cm x 45 cm (8-1/2” x18”) fabric

21.5 cm x 45 cm (8-1/2” x18”) medium weight fusible interfacing

30 cm (12”) nylon zipper

*Sample shown uses one side fusible foam, such as Pellon Flex Fuse
