The Hapkerchief pattern is a quick and fun project packed with lots of helpful video tutorials. You will get to try out different techniques, play with color, and feel a connection to Shetland as you knit!

Note: These are approximate dimensions. There is a lot of give to the garter stitch fabric so finished dimensions will be dependent on how aggressively the cowl is blocked.

US 8 / 5mm circular needle, 60cm / 24” length (for lower portion of cowl) US 8 / 5mm circular needle, 40cm / 16” length (for upper portion of cowl) Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
