Blooming Rose is a Circular Bag that has been designed so that there is no Binding :)
It is an intermediate sewing pattern.
It is advantageous if you have experience sewing curves.
There are 4 Front Panels to Choose From:
- Quilted Rose Panel
- Reverse Applique Panel
- Patch Work Panel
- Plain Panel
using a Cutting Machine (e.g. Cricut Maker, Silhouette Cameo, Brother Scan n Cut) is recommended for Options 2 and 3.
Blooming Rose is a stunning bag that allows you to make it your own. It is a show stopper and quite a quick sew.
Thanks to 4 Front Panel Options, it allows you to mix and match and have fun designing.

Fabric Requirements:
· 1 roll 12” x WOF non-fraying Exterior Fabric (recommended for vinyl, faux leather or cork)
· 1 roll 12” x WOF non-fraying Accent Fabric
· 1 roll of 12” x WOF Lining (recommended Waterproof Canvas Fabric, Light to Medium Weight)
· 1 roll of Stabiliser (recommended Decovil Light/ 2mm Foam or Batting)
Hardware and Tools:
Bag Hardware:
- 1x 14-18mm magnetic snap closure
- 15” long #5 zipper + 2 matching pulls
For Adjustable Crossbody Strap:
- 2x ¾” rectangle rings (or if you prefer, use 2x D-rings + swivel clasps to make the strap detachable)
- 2x double capped rivets
- 1 x ¾” triglide/ strap adjuster
- 2x 3/4" strap ends
Required Tools:
· Erasable marking pen
· Tex 45/ Tex 70 machine thread (front panel option 1)
· Hole Punch / Die for rivets
· Rivet Setting Die or Tool
· Printer +Tape + Scissors
