Vite Hat and Cowl
Vite Cowl is a simple, one-skein knit that works up very quickly and is terrific for last-minute gifts. The design for this came after working up the hat in Madison. I loved the softness and “cuddly” nature of this yarn so much that I decided to make a cowl to match. The cowl consists of a simple k1, p1 ribbing followed by a simple pattern stitch and is then concluded with the k1, p1 ribbing.
Size of Hats
S/M: 17” (unstretched) in circumference by 8.75” tall
L/XL: 20.5” (unstretched) in circumference by 9.25” tall
The yarn has great elasticity and thus the hat can accommodate a full range of sizes. Additionally, the height of the hat is easily adjusted and directions are included in the pattern.
Size of Cowl
20” (slightly stretched) at top circumference, increasing to 24” in circumference at the bottom, by 8.75” tall
