Chatty Princess (Kyuusaku Yumeno)
A fairy tale by prolific Japanese author, Kyuusaku Yumeno (originally released under the pen name Midori Kagatsuchi). First published in Japanese in 1925 and now translated into English. Originally written for children, but enjoyable for all ages, young and old.
In a certain country, there lived a girl known as Chatty Princess, the only king and queen's only child. This princess loved to chat and she filled her days chattering from dawn to dusk about any little thing to anyone she could find, but, one day, her father's patience starts to wear thin with his chatterbox daughter as he suspects her of making her stories up and he threatens to throw her into prison if she doesn't stop lying. Thus begins an amazing, fantastical journey for a girl who doesn't quite know when she should keep her thoughts to herself...
