The Poisoned Wood

There's a lot happening in such a small area of woodland!

Travelling along the road through teh forest it seems strange that there is such a heavy fence on both sides of the road, as if someone really doesn't want travellers to go into the forest itself...or perhaps it's to stop something getting out?

Certainly the broken wagon and dead gril on the side or the road is disturbing - so too is not only the trail of blood that leads away from it but the trail of noxious green inchor that follows the same path the a boken section of fence.

Do our brave heroes venture into the poisoned woods to investigate? Will they follow th trail of ichor to the fouled pond or explore the area to find the body hurriedly hidden under canvas, or stumble into the giant spider's lair?
