One-on-One Training Focused on the Skills Your Dog Needs Most.
Sometimes you don't need a long-term program. You need focused help with the specific things you're struggling with right now.
Madden’s K9 Private Training Sessions provide one-on-one instruction tailored to your dog and your goals. Each 60-minute session is built around the skills that will make the biggest difference in your everyday life together.
Depending on your dog's needs, a session may focus on:
Every dog comes with a different history, environment, personality, and set of challenges.
That's why private training isn't built around a one-size-fits-all routine.
We'll focus the session around your priorities and give you practical exercises you can continue working on between sessions.

Private training is a good option if you:
For more complex or significant behavior concerns, an assessment may be recommended before training begins.
A dog may know a behavior but still struggle to perform it when the environment changes.
Private training gives us the opportunity to work through those situations together while teaching you how to communicate clearly and reinforce the behavior correctly.
The goal isn't simply for your dog to listen to the trainer.
The goal is for you and your dog to become a better team.
After purchasing your session, you'll complete the General Training Intake Form. Once your intake is submitted, you'll be directed to Calendly to choose your 60-minute appointment.
You can select the areas that are most important to you. Common goals include obedience, leash pulling, recall foundations, impulse control, jumping, place, household manners, and focus.
Yes. You can purchase additional private sessions whenever you need additional hands-on training or want to continue building your dog's skills.
Not necessarily. A private session can be appropriate for straightforward foundational training needs. If your dog has complex behavioral or significant safety concerns, an assessment may be recommended before training.
One session can provide focused instruction and a clear starting point, but lasting behavioral change generally requires consistent practice outside of the training session. Your results will depend on your dog's history, environment, the complexity of the behavior, and your consistency as an owner.
Follow the instructions provided after booking. Generally, have your dog's normal leash and collar or harness available, along with high-value treats your dog enjoys.
