Dune has a gorgeously soft feel. The large central sand cable helps the cowl gather elegantly around the neck without slouching. You can use any DK yarn that you like, but if you want to add a touch of luxurious fluff to this project, you can also hold the DK together with a laceweight mohair. Knitting this cowl will certainly keep you entertained and you'll have a very pretty looking accessory that you'll just keep on making for yourself!
Tripling Dunes features three sections of meandering sand cables and has a soft yet sturdier feel compared to Dune. It's a beautiful pattern that is very fun to knit and it looks amazing too! Like Dune you can add in a laceweight mohair if you desire or just knit it in your favourite DK. This is the perfect evening and weekend project to curl up with.
Hip To Be Squared cowl is one of my best sellers and is a a great looking cowl that looks amazing on anyone. It has a lovely subtle texture provided by the simple stocking stitch block pattern that makes this pattern incredibly simple and quick to knit. You can knit this pattern in an evening or just pop it in your bag and take out and about with you for those lunch time and weekend coffee shop visits.
To knit all three of these patterns you will need 3 skeins of DK yarn (3x100g/225m). The yarn recommendations in each pattern are just that: recommendations. You can use any DK yarn you like.
