She Witnesses
She Witnesses
A companion for the woman carrying more than she can yet name.
She Witnesses is a collection of four personal essays and guided writing prompts for Muslim women finding their way through the complicated, often unnamed chapters of life.
Written by Sarah Jane Mullen, these pages move through mercy, waiting, arriving and being witnessed. They explore what it means to carry faith alongside grief, uncertainty and the sometimes unfamiliar experience of becoming someone you haven't quite met yet.
This is not a self-help book. There is no framework to complete, no version of yourself you are expected to become by the final page, and no pressure to find a lesson in everything you have lived through.
Instead, it is an invitation to recognise something of your own life in another woman's words, and perhaps begin finding the language for what you have been carrying.
Each essay is followed by SHE WRITES... — guided writing prompts that invite you to turn towards your own story, at your own pace and in your own words.
