Do you have a lovely single skein of yarn that you have been treasuring for ages and you are not sure what to do with it? Let it rise from your stash and be reborn into a lovely phoenix hat. The phoenix is a mythological bird that symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings.

This simple beanie is knitted from the bottom up with a generous mock cable rib, which leads into the stocking stitch section, the mock cable rib continues into a triangle on the one side of the hat. The top crown decrease makes a visually interesting 6-pointed star.

Sizes from toddler to large adult.
