Understand Your Dog. Identify the Problem. Build the Right Training Plan.
Every dog is different. The same behavior can have different causes, and randomly trying different training techniques can leave owners frustrated and unsure of what to do next.
The Madden’s K9 Assessment is designed to give you a clearer starting point.
During this 90-minute one-on-one assessment, we’ll look at your dog’s current training, everyday behavior, routines, environment, challenges, and your goals as an owner.
The goal isn't simply to point out what's wrong.
You'll leave with a clearer understanding of your dog's current training needs and a practical direction for what to work on next.
Based on the assessment, we can identify the skills that should be prioritized, what you can begin practicing at home, and whether private training or one of Madden’s K9 training programs is appropriate for your goals.
The K9 Assessment is a great starting point for owners who:
Dog training requires consistency and owner participation. Results vary based on the dog, environment, training history, and the owner's ability to consistently implement the training plan.
This assessment is not a substitute for veterinary care or veterinary behavioral evaluation when a medical or serious behavioral concern may be involved.
Training isn't just about getting a dog to perform a command.
It's about teaching owners how to communicate clearly, create structure, recognize patterns, and help their dogs succeed in everyday situations.
At Madden’s K9 Services, we focus on building practical skills that can be carried from the training session into real life.
The assessment gives us the opportunity to understand where your dog is today and determine what should come next.
After purchasing the K9 Assessment, you'll complete the K9 Assessment Intake Form. Once the form is submitted, you'll be directed to Calendly to choose your 90-minute assessment appointment.
