Stripes at the Waterhole – Zebras Drinking, Etosha, Namibia
In Etosha National Park, Namibia, a herd of zebras lines up shoulder to shoulder at the edge of a waterhole and drinks. Their stripes overlap into a hypnotic pattern, and the warm afternoon light makes them glow.
It is a rare moment of stillness in the dry season, when the waterholes become the center of life in the park. The image works both as a wildlife portrait and as a graphic, almost abstract composition.
