First Week of Preschool and Kindergarten Read Aloud Picture Book Ideas

The first week of school is always a slow one in my home. Routines are just being reestablished after summer break, and now we are getting back into the flow of homeschooling.

I thought it would be fun to put together a list of picture books you can read aloud to your preschooler and kindergartener to ease you into the start of school. It’s always fun to start with something easy and sweet for the first week of school. Picture books are a great way to bond with your child and help them build their capacity for stories and their ability to comprehend things.
