The BTR-4 is an 88 axle-configured armored personnel carrier (APC). It was created and produced as a new generation wheeled armored vehicle under a private venture initiative by Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau (SOE KMDB), a division of Ukrainian weaponry and military hardware firm UkrOboronProm.
